I Said Editing Was Spooky!

Image
Everyone please, please take your seats. I know you are all very excited about our current progress . Now it is the editing time of season, so we have begun the process well sort of. Let’s go over the basics all clips are in order and ready to be paired with transitions. We have already started to edit the individual clips by ensuring they are better quality. We have adjusted the lighting using iPhone features most clips were shot in cinematic mode so there was not a great need to up the quality. The problem we have is that we can’t decide which platform to use for the final editing process. I mentioned before that we were having some discussions on the editing process. I also mentioned that we always pull through . And we always do! It's just this time the problem is taking longer to solve, that's all. Okay now that I have recapped you all let's dive into the details. One editing software we want to use is Capcut . Capcut has many benefits it is quite eas

Approaching The Spooky Editing Time!

I know you all didn’t miss me that much. How could you? I was only gone for a little while this time! As you all know, we have filmed most of our music videos, and our next step is to start editing. But before we do that, we need some critiques so during my swim meet I was able to show my music video to some of my teammates. We mostly received positive feedback! Renato and I were extremely happy with this field test. We were told that we could tell who the characters were and that our group filling in roles was not really a problem. We were told multiple times our acting needs a lot of work but come on what do you expect ? I ain’t no Denzel Washington or Tom Hanks ! Besides that, they said which shots to use out of the multiple takes and they were typically the ones we chose as a group. Our new challenge is to edit. The pr oblem is we are not quite sure which editing software to use. There have been multiple debates about using something besides caput so the product co

Shooting the Rap Video

Guess who’s back? Back again? Ladies and gentlemen, after our long break I have returned. I know you are all overly excited about our music video and I assure you it's going to be amazing. This Tuesday I was finally able to film a majority of our scen es for our video. Boy did I learn a lot! Although we have not fully reviewed all the footage and started to edit my groupmates and I were really happy with the videos. We were able to even get an outside member to be the rapper's girlfriend. Sadly, we could not get some of our other friends to play certain roles. So, we tried to use props to disguise ourselves and make ourselves into different characters. We were able to make me the homeless guy and a rapper and have Finn be a rapper and someone who we were giving a car. Overall problems like not being able to have different characters due to availability did not really slow us down. When filming we had to be extremely adaptive. We often took multiple takes with different ty

Filming Smokey The Star

I am back every one! I know you all missed me so much. I have been working very hard on getting ready for our productions. My group mates and I are definitely not done filming, that's for sure! We have started to plan when we are getting a lot of our filming done but currently, we have actually done some filming. We were only able to film a couple   of shots of the entire video. Sadly, we have not been able to review the foot age all together as a group on whether we will use it. You are probably wondering why I said sad. Well, that is because a future star in the media has made his appearance and I have got to make sure he stays in the video. This week I filmed the scene with my dog Smokey who let's just say wasn’t as thrilled to be filming as I thought he would be. He was uncooperative at first, but a few treats would win him over. We also had to make sure lighti ng was not a problem on this shoot and that the quality was crystal clear . This is some thing

We found our setting!

I am back my loyal listeners. I know, I know I was gone for too long! Did you miss me, just kidding, we all know the answer, but anyway I am now back and on track to tell you about the latest developments in our music video. For you new listeners I am a part of a group of other media bloggers who have teamed up to take our own spin on God's Plan by Drake. It will be a daring adventure and I am so excited to share the final product with you ! But for now , let me discuss with you what I have done so far. We have decided on the locations where we are going to shoot the video. The problem is we need to find time . I am hoping we can get some filming done this weekend, but we will see if my associates are available. I know my group mates and I are very busy , but we will get it all done and find time together. I also discussed today with a group member that my dog will be maki ng his appearance in the music video. This will be his first debut in any of my projects who know
