Call me a boomerang

 


For real this time I mean it when I say let's do this one last time! I am now heading into my senior season and by heading into it I mean I am already halfway through. Time really flies. Midterms are going crazy and so much has changed since we last spoke. My last film did very well it got a lot of great reviews and had an international B-star rating. It's okay we are shooting for the A rating this year.

Anyway, let's catch up again. I am currently President of a club and boy does no one tell you how hard that is. Leading to scheduling meetings can be a real nightmare. But I would not change it for the world. The Club is called Mindfullme and it's a community that was created to deal with students' stress from school life to just regular life. I am accomplishing stuff there. I am also still an avid swimmer and enjoy it thoroughly I really love all my teammates and am going to miss them when I go to college. It is weird even typing that word out I can't believe high school will end soon. I have done a lot of work and I hope it all pays off. Those college essays took time but I think I really wrote something special. I am excited for the future and I am also nervous about the change. But I trust the process. But let's stay focused we have one final task to do and I am not alone! Stay tuned for the next blog where I will share my team for our film.

Planning Blog (Title Design)

Hello, my loyal listeners! I am here to explain my title design!  The opening credits for my film will be jagged white with blood dripping at the end of some letters. This is to give an ominous atmosphere to not suggest what will happen. The font title will be "Got Heroin"  and the job titles will be either "Jokerman" or "Impact". Working title: Betrayal It will be a scary font that must be in all caps. Titles will all be in the same set of fonts, with all the titles of positions in the same font, and the names of the position holders in the same font Titles will fade in and out Titles will stay for 2-3.5 seconds The font colors will be either a blood red or a white/gray color. The name of the job will be 3 font sizes smaller than the person holding the job.

Approaching The Spooky Editing Time!

  I know you all didn’t miss me that much. How could you? I was only gone for a little while this time! As you all know, we have filmed most of our music videos, and our next step is to start editing. But before we do that, we need some critiques so during my swim meet I was able to show my music video to some of my teammates. We mostly received positive feedback! Renato and I were extremely happy with this field test. We were told that we could tell who the characters were and that our group filling in roles was not really a problem. We were told multiple times our acting needs a lot of work but come on what do you expect ? I ain’t no Denzel Washington or Tom Hanks ! Besides that, they said which shots to use out of the multiple takes and they were typically the ones we chose as a group. Our new challenge is to edit.
