Planning Time!



Well, this feels like it came way too quickly! It is time to start planning and to be honest not exactly filled with ideas. I have to get a bunch of pictures for my You commercial no biggie, right? I do have some ideas. I was going to get some pictures that describe who I am. For example, I mentioned I’m a swimmer, so I got to find some swim photos to put in the commercial. Although if it’s a commercial about me, I can’t leave out my passion for the environment. But there are so many lenses to who I am! It is just too hard to do. Who said planning was easy? Seriously I need to ask them and get some tips and tricks. I must get pictures of my enjoyments like I didn’t even mention in my intro, but I like sneakers and that’s something about me that is pretty important, I guess? You can make commercials funny. I mean look at the Superbowl, they must be the best of the best in order to grab sales because everyone watches, and they are only going to want the best. Shouldn’t it be essential in every plan to strive for the best? Well then after further discussion the plan must have the best photos that represent me. Speaking of what represents me, I can’t leave out my dog! Plus, he’s definitely going to get some eyeballs on my commercial. Well then let's recap! I got the fundamentals down I must have some environmental photos alongside my swim photos to show my major passions. Now with the fundamentals, I can have some wiggle room in my other photos like maybe some about my clubs, pets, job, favorite TV, and movies. As of now, I think I have a solid plan rolling. It's all going to work out in no time...

Assigning Roles

  Hello my loyal listeners! I am back again here to bring you updates on the short film progress. Today we had an essential meeting. The group and I discussed how we were going to split roles amongst ourselves. We had already planned a lot of our movie, obviously, but there is still a lot more to put together for this project. First we discussed our roles in the filming process. Jaydon, Myles, and I had signed up as actors and we agreed we would need more actors for this film. Jaydon would be playing the lead role and a director role alongside Sophia. Jaydon also said he had a friend who has all of the costumes and would be more than happy to sign up as an actor. Part One The Filming Process

Hello my loyal listeners, today was the day we have officially filmed. Now let's start with the first problem we faced, time management. You know how teenagers are, we all agreed to meet at a certain time, but that went out the window real quick. It was touch and go for a second because even though I had scouted the area before, I forgot where I was going to put my car. After driving around for 20 minutes, I found the perfect place, but still no one was near. I waited long and hard... nah I'm just playing I drove around a bit more and listened to music, it was really relaxing. But it was starting to get real because Sophia was the second one to arrive. When she arrived, I had to help her by dropping a pin at the park I parked at. Since she was in a car, she took the long way there and I waited for her to walk down. Research: How to make a short film

  When analyzing the video "How to Make a Short Film", I managed to take a few valuable notes on what could be implemented into my own short film in the future. Immediately, casting was brought up. Ryan explained that casting is important because your actors need to take their roles seriously in order to "sell the moment" to the audience. I found this to be a very interesting point because when writing the script, each character needs to have their own respective strengths and weaknesses. This should correlate to each actor's strengths and weaknesses in order for the acting to look more natural. Through my own short film, I believe getting to know each of my actors better will help me find out these specialties. My crew likely will not all be able to be on set so the main focus will be on the actors.     Considering logistics in production, there must be a certain degree of comfort for the actors when on set.
